Terry Combers

March 12, 1953 — October 3, 2022

Windsor

Terry Lee Combers was born to Conrad and Jeanne Eimers in Evanston, IL on March 12, 1953. She left us peacefully on Oct 3, 2022 to join her father Conrad and sister Sharon in their afterlife. She spent her childhood in Evanston and Northbrook, IL with her younger sister Sharon and younger brother Conrad. She moved to Colorado to attend college at CU Boulder. Soon after college she moved to Parker raising her 3 kids Christian, Jill and Maggie. She was an incredibly loving mother and enjoyed taking them camping, skiing and watching them play sports.

Terry moved to Northern Colorado in 2006 and soon after met her husband John Combers. They lived in a beautiful home in Windsor where people would frequently stop to take pictures and admire their amazing gardens and house's charm. She was a grateful friend of Bill W. and Dr. Bob and she spent the last 5 years helping and serving others around her.

Terry was known by her 8 grandchildren Cole (15), Cooper (14), Finnley (10) (children of Christian and Shaunda Norman), Kelly (9), Elise (6) (children of John and Jill Shonka), Camden (9), Bennett (6), and Brooks (3) (children of Scott and Maggie Runyan) as "Tia". Tia loved to make them laugh, watch them play sports, take them to swim lessons with a smoothie treat after and spoil them with ice cream on Fridays after school pick-up. She will be remembered by them for her fun, carefree love of life and for decorating a seasonal tree with them several times throughout the year.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 5th at 10:30 located at Windsor Vineyard Church (1450 Westwood Drive, Windsor, CO 80550) with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, we are collecting donations to be split evenly between St. Jude's Children's Hospital, the Fort Collins Guide Dogs for the Blind Club and Pathways Hospice.

Following her Dad's footsteps, Terry regularly contributed to St. Judes Children's Hospital. Terry was also a tremendous supporter of Guide Dogs for the Blind. The family would also like to recognize Pathways Hospice for their compassionate support that allowed Terry to pass peacefully in the comfort of her home.

Terry would be proud to know that her friends and family would contribute to her GoFundMe account to support these wonderful organizations.
