Stephen Couch

Stephen Couch, age 50, died peacefully on April 14, 2023 in Loveland, CO.

Born to Gene and Shirley Couch of Salida Colorado, Stephen attended Salida High School and then attended Fort Lewis College in Durango where he played football.  After completing school in Durango, Stephen lived in Arvada for a short time before moving up to Northern Colorado where he had settled in over the past 18 years working in the mortgage industry.  

He loved all sports however he loved being on the golf course the most. Never having kids of his own, he loved bringing smiles to all the neighborhood kids. Many knew Stephen as a staple at the Sandbar at Pelican Lakes Golf Course, where he spent many evenings and weekends making friends with members, new and old. He never knew a stranger.

Stephen was preceded in death by his father Gene, grandparents Courtney and Edith Moore and Pauline Couch.

Stephen is survived by his mother Shirley Couch, brother Keith (Julie) Couch of Firestone and Beau (Dawn) Couch of Windsor. Uncle Jim (Glenda) Moore of Castle Rock, Aunt Cathy Doggett of Sacramento, Aunt Karen Royal, Aurora, Nephews Casey (Carlee) Couch of Severance, Kyle (Megan) Couch of Mead, and nieces Katie Couch and McKenna Couch, great nephews Kash and Krew, great niece Kemper.

Celebration of life service will be held at The Island at Pelican Lakes 445 Baja Dr, Windsor, CO. Saturday April 22, 2023 at 4:00 pm

An additional service will held this summer in Salida, Co day and time to be determined.
