Robert (Bob) W. Skipworth Jr

Bob passed away at his home in Windsor CO on November 24, 2025. 

Bob was born July 22,1954 in Fort Collins CO to Wayne Skipworth and Nadine Deering. He is survived by his wife, of 51 years, Mary (Krogmeier) Skipworth, his son, Donovan R. Skipworth and family Becky, Nya and Kai of Windsor CO. His sister Judy Bodtker and brother Dan Skipworth, both of Loveland. Sisters-in-law, Debbie Grant (Bill) of Clarkson KY, Nancy Wilson, Marilyn Walter (Chris), Barbara Schleiger (Curt) of Loveland CO. He leaves numerous uncles and aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and his adoring little puppy, Eddie MAK. 

Bob loved being with his family; family trips, outings and many school and sports activities for his granddaughters. Donovan was his pride and joy and a huge part of his life – golf was their game. 

Bob’s career was in law enforcement. He worked with Loveland Police Department, retiring as a Sergeant. He then joined the State of Colorado Parole in Fort Collins CO and recently retired from Larimer County Community Corrections in Fort Collins.

After his retirement, he found a new ambition in volunteering for Hearts and Horses in Loveland. This was the best ‘job’ of his life. He loved every bit of working with the horses and the incredible staff. He would come home ‘refreshed’ and have a huge smile on his face and a bounce in his step! 

Bob made hundreds of friends in his life and has left a big hole in many hearts. His great smile and contagious laugh are his legacy to all.
