Randy Alan Hale

October 1, 1956 — October 11, 2019

Randy Hale, 63, was welcomed into eternity on Friday, October 11, 2019. He was a resident of Eaton.

Born October 1, 1956 in Paducah, KY to Johnny & Mary Beth Hale he was raised in Mascoutah, IL along with his brothers John & Tim. They spent many summers with their grandparents, Sherman & Libby Morris creating some of his fondest memories.

He graduated Mascoutah HS and worked with his grandfather before enlisting in the Navy. He spent several years in Navy schools for Electronics and Satellite Communications before going to NCS Harold E. Holt in Western Australia where he met his future wife who was also stationed there. They were married in Hawaii June 25, 1980.

His Navy experience took him around the world and paved the way for his career as an electronics engineer for Hughes Aircraft/PanAmSat/Intelsat working in Virginia, Southern California and Castle Rock, CO.
Randy leaves behind his wife, Mary, son Zachary (granddaughter Caitlyn) and daughter Amanda (Brian) along with his brothers John (Renee) and Tim (Jennifer) all of whom love him dearly and will miss him greatly.
Randy was a man of faith in Jesus Christ. He currently attended Windsor Community Church, and served in many areas of ministry at previously attended churches. He was involved in his children’s activities, lending himself to being a band dad and soccer ref, among other things. Since moving to Eaton, you could find him at the Rec Center swimming at 5 in the morning, six days a week.

His loving and gentle spirit will be missed as evidenced by the outpouring of condolences from family and friends, both old and new.
