Phillip Douglas Childress, 76, of Windsor, passed away Feb. 7, 2020 in Windsor.
Mr. Childress was born June 21, 1943, to Hamdton and Ruth (Wilson) Childress in Virginia.
He joined the Air Force and was stationed while stationed in England on July 17, 1981 he married Belinda Searl in Brackley, England. They traveled the world while in the Air Force, living in England, Ohio, Virginia, South Carolina and Colorado as well as Germany, Thailand, Japan, Panama, the Philippines and Vietnam.
He graduated from Dickinson University in Wroxton, England. After retiring from the Air Force he owned his own business which specialized in information technology.
Phil loved baseball, golf, technology, and computers.
Mr. Childress is survived by his wife, Belinda Childress of Windsor; children Joanna Ordonez of Windsor and Russel Ciballi of Cardigan, Ohio; siblings Jeffrey, Jim, Roger, and Van Childress; and five grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
