Peggy
Graff
February 24, 1941 – April 12, 2026
Peggy Louise (Brown) Graff was born February 24, 1941, in Hitchcock County to Bernice Jones and Kenneth Brown. She lived a life marked by strength, generosity, and an unwavering love for her family.
The Lord welcomed her home with open arms on April 13th, 2026. Peggy will be reunited with her one true love and husband, Larry George Graff. There is comfort in knowing they are together again. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Jack, Jim, and Larry.
She is survived by three sisters, Carol Williams, Vickie Adams, and Bette Freeman; three children, Jody Monsivais and her husband, Jim;Kevin Graff and his wife, Kristen; and Danielle Peterson and her husband, Brad; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren (with one more on the way); and two great-great grandchildren. Her love will continue through each of them.
Peggy was one of the toughest women you could ever meet, yet at the same time one of the most loving. She would give the shirt off her back to anyone without hesitation. If someone mentioned they needed something, she would show up the very next day with it, often not just one, but many. Taking care of others simply came naturally to her.
Her family meant everything to her. She found the most joy in the simple moments spent together laughing, talking, and just being present. She had a love for thrift shopping and took pride in finding things for the people she cared about. She was always thinking of others and finding ways to brighten their day.
Peggy also had a playful side. She loved sharing YouTube videos and gifs that would make people smile and laugh. Those small moments brought a lot of joy to the people around her and became something everyone will remember.
She had a deep love for Nebraska and carried that with her throughout her life.
Peggy leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and love. She showed everyone around her what it means to truly care for others. She will be deeply missed and always remembered. May her soul rest in peace.
