Michael Eli Solis, 43, of Windsor, Colorado, passed away on July 7, 2026, in Loveland, Colorado. Born on May 8,1983, in Fort Morgan, Colorado, Michael spent his life in the state he cherished.

Michael attended grade school in Fort Collins before continuing his education at middle and high school in Windsor. He possessed a remarkable talent for working with his hands and an innate ability to solve problems. Whether repairing electronics, fixing cars, or tackling household projects, Michael had a unique gift for making things work again. His mama fondly recalls how she could always rely on him to lend a hand when something needed fixing.

Cooking was another of Michael's passions. An exceptional cook, he found joy in preparing meals for his family, creating moments of comfort and togetherness that will be treasured forever.

Michael also had a deep love for cars-both working on them and collecting model cars. His enthusiasm for automobiles was only surpassed by his devotion to his family. He especially adored his nephews, Josiah Perkins of Windsor and Bryson Solis of Greeley, with whom he shared a profound and loving bond.

Michael is survived by his mother Joy Solis and his sister Marissa Solis of Windsor; his beloved nephews Josiah and Bryson; and his aunts Mary and Bert McCaffrey of Wellington as well as Jeanie and Simon Cardona of Fort Morgan. His cousins Sean McCaffrey and Candice Johnson of Wellington and Tonya Cardona, Sara Cano and Adam Cardona of Fort Morgan. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Elias and Eva Solis of Fort Morgan.

Michael's warmth and unwavering support left an indelible mark on those who knew him. His family will forever cherish the memories of his kindness, humor, and the countless ways he enriched their lives.
