Melva McKelvey (Wescott)
August 31, 1931 — February 20, 2019
It is with great sadness that we inform you that Melva Jean McKelvey (Wescott), 87, passed away Feb. 20, 2019 in Chorpus Christi, TX. She was born Aug. 31, 1931 in Windsor, Colorado to Melvin Charles and Lila Marie Wescott.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Lloyd McKelvey of Greeley, CO; her son, James M. Brink (Janette) of Aurora, Colorado; her daughter, Patty Hagan of Windsor, Colorado; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. Step-son Daniel Mckelvey (Shylo) and three step grandsons.
Melva enjoyed her winters in Texas the last several years with her husband Dale and would return back to Colorado for the Spring and Summer months. Melva enjoyed playing Bingo with many friends while visiting her home in Texas and have and will continue to be missed by many.
Please join us in a celebration of life for Melva at the First United Methodist Church of Windsor, CO (503 Walnut St, Windsor, CO 80550) at 10:00am on Sept 17, 2019. Light snacks and mingling to follow a ceremony for Melva.
