Masen Alex Campbell, 19, passed away on May 31, 2026 at his home from natural causes. He was born on July 4, 2006, in Grand Junction, Colorado, and lived there until 2015 when he moved with his parents and sisters to Severance, Colorado.
Masen was deeply loved by his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was kind, loving, happy, and truly had a heart of gold. His smile, laughter, and caring spirit left a lasting impact on so many lives.
Anyone who knew Masen knew how much he loved his family, football, fishing, golf, working out, music, and spending time with his best friends. He especially loved animals, particularly his dogs. Masen lived life with passion, loyalty, and a genuine love for the people around him.
Masen graduated from Severance High School in 2025. After graduation, he began working for one of his best friends at J&J Power Washing. Recently, he made the decision to pursue college and fulfill his dream of getting back on the football field. He was preparing to begin classes this fall at Feather River College.
Most importantly, Masen was a believer, and his family finds comfort in knowing the faith he carried in his heart.
Masen is survived by his father, Nate Campbell (Andrea Stevens); his mother, Ashley Campbell (James Schaneman); his sisters, Madysen and McKinley Campbell; his grandparents, Kent and Shawn Campbell, Amy Lanman, and Terry and Janet Lanman; and his uncles, Brent Lanman, Andrew Campbell, and Brent Campbell (Nicole Campbell), along with many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, June 9, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Mark's Funeral Home in Windsor, Colorado.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Flatirons Church in Lafayette, Colorado, Friday the 12 from 10:00 a.m.
to 12:00 p.m. Following the service, family and friends are welcome to gather at Bruce's Bar in Severance, Colorado, at 3:00 p.m. to share memories and celebrate Masen's life.
One of Masen's favorite Bible verses was:
"Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love."
