Mary Lou Gale

Mary Lucille Gale, age 90, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Services will be held at Mark’s Funeral and Cremation on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. 

The service will take place at 9293 Eastman Park, Windsor, CO 80550.

Mary Lou was born on March 29, 1936, in Cheyenne, Wyoming, to Charlie and Lucile Spicka. The oldest of five children, she grew up with her brothers Ed, Corky, Jim, and Robert. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Cheyenne and married the love of her life, Alvin Frank Gale, at age 20. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, and family.

Mary Lou and Alvin were blessed with five children: Frank Gale (Kaye), Dan Gale (Gail), Lenard Gale (Pam), Rick Gale (Nancy), and Gwen Healy (Eric). She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who taught her family the values of kindness, integrity, hard work, and unconditional love. She was the proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren and was blessed with several great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her great joy.

Mary Lou was a gifted artist, crafter, designer, seamstress, and gardener. She found joy in creating beauty with her hands, whether sewing keepsakes, crafting, or tending her gardens. Her talents and creations will remain cherished reminders of the love she poured into everything she did.

Mary Lou will be remembered for her warm heart, quiet strength, and generous spirit. A devoted Catholic, she lived with deep faith and steadfast trust in God, always placing her family at the center of her life. Her life reflected love, kindness, and selfless service, and her legacy lives on in her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know her. Her family finds comfort in knowing she rests peacefully in the Lord’s care. She will be forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.
