Kylie Elizabeth Salazar

May 8, 2008 — March 18, 2023

Kylie Elizabeth Salazar was born on May 6, 2008, in Fort Collins, Colorado. She passed away
peacefully at Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children on March 18, 2023, surrounded by those
who loved her the most.

In her short fourteen years of life, Kylie made an imprint on everyone she encountered. People
of all ages were naturally drawn to her kind spirit. When she was young, she earned the
nickname, “The Walmart Greeter”, because of her fearless nature and desire to acknowledge
and greet everyone who crossed her path. She found it hilarious to startle complete strangers
by yelling “hi” while walking behind them. She had a silly personality that earned her many
friends throughout her life. Kylie had a contagious smile and gave the best hugs.

Kylie loved the outdoors and had her best days camping, fishing, and playing at the park. She
spent her free time reading, listening to her favorite music, playing with her dogs and rabbits,
and spending time with her family. Kylie most recently attended York International and Windsor
Middle School; she will be missed greatly by her friends and teachers there.

Kylie is survived by her parents, Jen and Nathan, her siblings, Steven, Ariana and Olivia, her
grandparents, Brenda and Ivan Burch, Sandra and Ron Falicki, Kimberly and Daniel Salazar,
along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her cousin
Preston, whom she loved dearly.

Anyone who knew and loved Kylie is invited to attend her memorial service on Friday, March 31,
2023, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon at Marks Funeral Home located at 9293 Eastman Park Drive,
