Kevin Martin, born on October 06, 1963, in Greeley, Colorado, passed away on January 8, 2026, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Kevin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, known for his unwavering dedication to family, hardworking nature, and quiet generosity.
A lifetime hay farmer, Kevin understood the value of early mornings, long days, and honest labor. His craftsmanship extended beyond farming; he was a gifted handyman who could fix nearly anything. Kevin had a unique ability to lend a helping hand without seeking recognition, dedicating his efforts to achieving tangible results.
He graduated from Windsor High School in 1983, but his true accomplishments were revealed in the love he poured into his family and community. Kevin found joy in the outdoors, whether he was hunting, golfing, or fishing. These activities brought him peace, yet it was his treasured time with his grandchildren, Mark, Natalie, Matthew, Adeline, that filled his heart with the greatest pride. Whether they were playing, laughing, or simply enjoying each other's company, Kevin found profound happiness in their presence.
Kevin will be remembered not only for his strong work ethic and steadfast loyalty but also for the legacy of kindness and service he left behind. He proudly served as a volunteer firefighter, always ready to assist when others were in need, further exemplifying his selfless spirit.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie, his high school sweetheart and best friend for over 40 years; their children, Krystle and Clark Schaneman, and Warren and Kristen Martin; as well as his brothers, Loren and Kim Martin, and Wes Martin. He was also a caring uncle to his nieces and nephews. He also had special love for his parents, Melvin and Nancy Martin. The warmth of Kevin's presence will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched.
A memorial service in celebration of Kevin's life will be held on January 15, 2026, at Faith Church of Windsor in Windsor, Colorado. As we gather to honor and reflect on the impact he made, we carry with us the cherished memories of his laughter, kindness, and love. Kevin’s legacy will forever remain etched in the hearts of his family and friends.
