Keven Michael O’Neill
January 5, 1949 – April 21, 2026
Keven Michael O’Neill, 77, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family on April 21, 2026, after a very short courageous battle with melanoma cancer, layered with Parkinson’s. Keven was born on January 5, 1949 to Thomas F O’Neill & Dorthea (Farrell) O’Neill at Poudre Valley Hospital, located in Fort Collins, CO. He graduated from Poudre High School in 1967 and acquired a degree from Colorado Technical College in 1969. In June of 1970 he married Henrietta Nadine Gebhardt, of Windsor, and had three children: Nadine, Christina & Benjamin. Keven worked for Hewlett Packard from 1969-1992 as a graphic & product designer, in which after 1992 worked freelance. Amongst many things, Keven found enjoyment in photography, locomotives, his 56 Chevy Bel Air, the universe, and history. Keven will be remembered for his comedic whit, artistic genius, unconditional love, childlike spirit and his light-hearted temperament.
He will be greatly missed by his Wife, of 55 years, Henrietta (Gebhardt) O’Neill, his Children: Nadine (Greg) Shields, Christina O’Neill (Brian James) & Benjamin O’Neill. his Grandchildren: Dominick Oliver, Grace Oliver (Austin Meyers), Austin (Shanna) James, Brendan (Aspen) James. Great Grandchildren: Chase, Damien, Serenity & Enzo. Along with Siblings: Cathy Hammett, Shanna (Wayne) Hummel, & Pat (Robyn) O’Neill. Sister & Brother-in-law, Elaine & Glenn LaBue. Sister-in-law, Robin Gebhardt. A plethora of beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Keven is proceeded in death by his parents: Thomas & Dorthea (Farrell) O’Neill, infant older Brother, Brother-in-Law, Leonard Gebhardt, infant Granddaughter Bethany, and infant Great Nephew Joey. As well as a multitude of Grand Parents and extended family.
A Memorial & Celebration of Life Service will be held on June 20, 2026, at 11am, St. Albans Episcopal Church located at 311 6th St, Windsor, CO, with a reception after. Donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation or the Melanoma Research Foundation.
