Kelly Lou Bixby, 1960 – 2026

Kelly Bixby passed away in her home on June 9, 2026, after a battle with cancer that she faced with courage, peace, and patience. She was 65. Born in Shawano, Wisconsin, Kelly grew up playing in the woods and lakes of her home state. Throughout her life she always yearned to explore and travel. Her wanderlust brought her to California where she built a rich life of friends and adventure. There she met her adoring husband, Bill. The pair dated, fell in love, married, and later moved to Colorado to build a family and a life. They celebrated 42 years of marriage. Throughout her life she never lost her sense of adventure. She planned many family trips, taming mountains, valleys, beaches, and theme parks along the way.

Kelly leaves behind her husband, Bill Bixby; her three daughters, Samantha Bixby, Emma Behl (Ryan Behl), and Jenica Amrose (Mike Winterfeld); her granddaughter, Eden Behl; and her siblings Keith Kozlovsky, Karen Rochan, and Kathy Mitten. She reunites with her parents, Irvin and Lorraine Kozlovsky; her sister Kim Marks; and her nephew, Jason Kozlovsky.

She was known for her care and love; empathy and understanding; and the many family events she hosted in her home. Kelly also enjoyed fashion, crafts, and skiing, but most of all she was overjoyed to share an overwhelming faith in God that was fostered early in her partnership alongside her loving husband. She touched many lives throughout her life, was a fast friend, a wise counselor, and an amazing wife and mother. She will be remembered for her kindness, her genuine empathy, her infectious smile, her wonderful sense of humor, and her steadfast faith in Jesus Christ.

A memorial service will be held on Monday July 13th, 2026, at 1:00pm, at Christ Community Church, 1301 15th St, Greeley, CO. 80631. Guests are invited to attend and enjoy light refreshments afterwards.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Bible Study where Kelly spent many years as a group leader and member.
