Jimmy Denmark

James B. Denmark, 96, of Windsor, Co. passed in peace on May 29th, 2019. He has now joined the love of his life, Emma Lee, and his son, David, in the arms of his Lord.
James was born on April 1st, 1923 in Rome, Ga. This is where he met and married Emma Lee Tankersley in 1956. In 1962 they moved to Decatur, Al. where he worked for Monsanto until he retired in 1985. In 1999 they moved to Johnstown Co. to be near their grandchildren. James had a quiet strength that was always a constant in his family. He was a true southern gentleman who knew how to live life with joy.
James is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Romanowski; son-in law, Mark Romanowski; grandchildren, David, Kara, Alley, Michael, and Ryan, and his special family, Teresa Romanowski, Ashley King and Brandon King. He was preceded in death by both of his parents; wife, Emma Lee, and son, David.
A graveside service was held at Johnstown Cemetery on June 8th at 10:30.
