Listen to Obituary

Diana Tempelfeld, born September 23, 1943, in Windsor, Colorado, passed away on October 17, 2025, in Berthoud, Colorado. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, as well as a cherished member of her church and community.

Diana graduated from Windsor High School, where her warmth, kindness, and dedication began to shine—qualities that would guide her throughout her life. She built a rewarding career in the medical field, working with Dr. R.L. McManaman until her retirement in 2001. Her compassion and commitment left a lasting impression on both colleagues and patients alike.

On October 13, 1962, Diana married the love of her life, John Tempelfeld, in Windsor. Together they shared more than six decades of love, laughter, and faith, building a home that reflected Diana’s nurturing heart. She found joy in crocheting, reading, and volunteering—simple acts through which she touched countless lives with her generosity and spirit.

Diana is survived by her devoted husband, John Tempelfeld; her son, James K. Tempelfeld; her siblings, Gloria Koch and Gordon (Nancy) Margheim; and many nieces and nephews who will continue to carry her memory in their hearts. She now joins in eternal rest her parents, George and Marie Margheim, along with her brothers George, Robert, Daniel, Edward, and Paul Margheim, and her sisters, Leona Walter and Mary Ruth Bopp.
