David Wayne Baker, age 63 of Windsor, CO and formerly of Laramie, Wy, passed away in his home on December 13th, 2023.
Dave was the eldest of 5 boys born on February 29th, 1960, in Sheridan, Wy to Wayne and Mary Helen Baker. The family later moved to Laramie and he graduated from Laramie High School in 1978. In 1980 Dave’s daughter Chandell (Baker) Oleson was born. On May 19th, 2001, Dave married the love of his life Lynnette Baker which brought two more children into his life, Anthony and Angelina Pacheco. Dave would begin a lifelong career working for Wal-Mart in various positions in 1989. In those 34 years he gained many friends.
Dave was an avid Denver Bronco fan, loved golf and in his later years’ picked up the sport of corn hole. Dave was known for his humor and goofy nature never afraid to make someone laugh. Dave loved spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter Elody Pacheco.
Dave is survived by his wife Lynnette Baker of Windsor, CO, his children Chandell (Leslie) Oleson of Potter, NE, Anthony Pacheco (Kathryn) of Windsor, CO, Angelina of Windsor, CO, his grandchildren, Gunnar and Gabbie Oleson, and Elody Pacheco, his mother and father, Wayne and Mary Helen Baker of Laramie, Wy; brothers Troy (Debbie) Baker of Laramie, Craig (Susan) Baker of Colorado Springs, CO, Mark (Diana) Baker of Kapolei, HI along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins,
extended family and special friends.
Dave was preceded in death by his grandparents and his brother, Rick Baker.
Services will be held December 21st, 2023, at 11AM at Mark’s Funeral & Cremation in Windsor, Colorado. Following the services friends and family are welcome at Dave's home, we would love to continue sharing stories and memories with all of you. 907 Greenbrook Dr, Windsor, CO 80550.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Big Bones Canine or Scroungy Dogs Pretty Paws in Colorado.
