Danny was a very friendly and personable guy, always willing to lend a helping hand. Danny loved animals, especially the dog companions in his life. His most favorite of all was Mia, a Border Collie/Australian Sheperd, who accompanied him everywhere.
Danny always aspired to being a good person. He was kind, compassionate and loving. He loved his family very much and took delight in his nephews Vincent and Lincoln.
Danny’s faith, trust and love for Our Lord Jesus was also very important to him.
Danny was raised in Deerfield, Illinois where he attended Walden School, Shepard Junior High and graduated from Deerfield High School. Danny earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. Danny’s summer after graduation from CSU was filled with lots of traveling with friends throughout Europe. Danny very much looked forward to doing more traveling in the future.
Danny focused on a career in the automobile insurance business with Enterprise-Rent-A-Car in both Chicago, Illinois and Fort Collins, Colorado.
After Danny relocated to Colorado, he enjoyed hiking in the mountains with his family, driving his Porsche Macon and working out at the gym. Danny was also an avid reader and traded books back and forth with his Dad. He spent many hours doing volunteer and community service work.
Danny was also an enthusiastic fan of the Chicago sports teams. He closely followed the Bears, Bulls and Blackhawks.
One of Danny’s passions was to acquire a variety of electronics. He especially enjoyed video game and surround sound entertainment systems for playing games and watching sporting events.
Danny is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles F. Allison lll and Gayle Marie Evans Allison, his paternal grandparents, Charles Joseph Trom and Verna Haynes Trom, his uncles, James Trom and Robert Allison.
Danny is survived by his parents, Charles Joseph Trom Jr. and Karen Lee Allison Trom, his siblings, Brian (Shilo) Trom and Steven Trom (and fiancée Malia Machado), his two nephews, Vincent and Lincoln Trom. And several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Danny has also left behind his devoted girlfriend, Stacy and his beloved canine companion, Mia.
A funeral Mass, Reception and Interment will take place in Glenwood Springs, Colorado at a time to be determined.
