Corey Breneman

Corey's parents were Charles L. Breneman (Windsor, Colorado)  and Claudia K. Lewis (Loveland, Colorado).

 

Corey is survived by his parents and their spouses - Colleen Breneman and Dale Rine,  and two sons from 2 unions of marriage.  Dillon Blaine Breneman (Kella Kline), Payden Lane Breneman (Kara Dewbre).  Corey also has one half brother, Beau Breneman (Montana).  Aunts, Uncles, Cousins from all over the country are grieving also.  

 

Corey earned his educational degree from Helena High School, Helena, Montana in 1988. 

 

Upon graduating from high school, Corey moved to Nunn, Colorado where he found friendships that were lasting and nurturing.  In 1989 Corey accepted an opportunity to be a part of a developing new golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus outside Windsor, Colorado, Ptarmigan Country Club.  He was an assistant to the Golf Pro shop and Golf Cart operation. He FULLY enjoyed this experience for nearly a decade.  

 

After a few manufacturing jobs (1998) he entered the Construction industry. A few different builders were the recipient of Corey's passion, generosity, and integrity.  Here he discovered a love/hate relationship but LOVE won out.  He was 100% committed to the product and the people.  Those builders include DR Horton, Baessler, Wiliam Lyon, Taylor Morrison.    Corey also owned/operated CB Landscaping.

 

In the 1990's Corey was a member of Loveland Volunteer Fire Department.  He loved it and was very disappointed when he realized that the opportunities for advancement were limited.

 

His recreational enjoyments were hanging with his boys, Football, Hunting, Golfing,  Motorcycles.  

 

Corey influenced all he met with his wit, courage, grit and compassion.  ALL our hearts are broken in a million pieces.  Corey fought bravely and faced his long illness with courage and dignity.
