Gene Lawrence

October 10, 1966 — July 4, 2021

Gene Lawrence was a caring husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He left this world to be with Jesus on July 4, 2021 at age 54. He was born on October 10, 1966 in Colorado Springs, CO to Amos and Catherine Lawrence.

Gene graduated class of 1985 at Loveland High School. Shortly after graduating, he pursued his desire for welding and attended vocational school. Gene worked for Walker Manufacturing for 25 years before following his dream to own land in Nebraska.

Gene loved everyone and enjoyed making people laugh. He was full of life and love, leaving a mark on all who knew him. He loved large and always made the best of every situation. Gene was a skilled hunter and could shoot a pheasant with the best of them! He had a passion for music and especially loved the hymns.

Gene is survived by Karin Lawrence; daughter Courtney of Fort Collins, CO. Parents Amos and Catherine Lawrence of Windsor, CO; Sister Leigh Ann (Jacob) Scofield of Severance, CO. Brothers-in-law Daniel Edbald of Crosslake, MN and John Burch of Mead, CO as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Gene is preceded in death by his loving twin sisters, Colleen Edbald and Carleen Burch.

Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, July 31st at 10 a.m., at the Pavilion at Walker Manufacturing, 5925 East Harmony Road, Timnath, Colorado, 80547
