Allen Siebels
On August 4, 2026, Allen Siebels passed away peacefully, closing a remarkable 89-year life defined by love, laughter, and unwavering humility.
Allen’s story was one of quiet devotion. He married Deborah “Deb” P. Green on June 15, 1963, after graduating from Augustana college in Rock Island IL, beginning a partnership that became the heart of his world. That same year, they moved to Newton, Iowa, where Allen joined the corporate headquarters of the Maytag Corporation as a salesman. He spent 35 years there—never seeking attention, never chasing titles, simply showing up every day with the steady reliability people came to depend on.
Allen and Deb shared countless traditions, but none more beloved than their daily “tea time.” With a cocktail in hand and Deb by his side, Allen often joked that she was his favorite drinking buddy—a sentiment he meant wholeheartedly. He loved traveling, taking photos, and planning family vacations, always eager to explore new places and create memories.
Before all of this, Allen also served in the United States Army as a typist, a chapter of his life he downplayed so naturally that many who knew him never even realized he was a veteran. Recognition never mattered to him; what mattered was caring for the people around him and savoring the simple joys of life—cards at the kitchen table, laughter with family, and time spent with those he cherished.
He was a devoted father to Paul (Constance) Siebels, Katie (Drake) Paul, and Mark (Christina) Siebels. His greatest joy came from his grandchildren— Nicole, Rachael, Riley, Olivia, Jonathan and Kylie—each of whom brought him immense pride.
Allen’s warmth, quiet strength, and gentle humor will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A memorial service will be held on August 14, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at Mark’s Funeral Home in Windsor, Colorado. All are welcome to join in remembering and celebrating Allen’s life.
