William (Bill) Eugene Miller passed away peacefully at home Saturday November 10, 2018. Bill was born January 2, 1941 in Wheatland, WY to parents Ezra (John) Emmett and Buelah Miller (Burr). The family moved to Eaton, Co then to Wiggins, Co. Bill graduated from Wiggins High School in 1960. He joined the Navy in October of 1963 and honorably discharged in December of 1967; served on the submarine USS Snook. He worked road construction for Goodell Brothers, Pueblo Paving, Bestway Paving; Mountain Constructors and retired as a road construction superintendent in 2003. Bill married Loretta A. Burke in 1971 and was divorced in 1985. In November of 1989 he married Ann M. Frei. Bill is survived by wife Ann, brother Gary (Jodi) Miller, Gentry, AR, son Kevin (Sallie) Miller, Briggsdale, CO; stepdaughter Staci (Mark) Monheiser, Dacono, CO; stepson Dean (Debra) Frei, Windsor, CO. Grandchildren Alisa Miller, Briggsdale, CO; Myranda Monheiser, Dacono; Blake Monheiser, Dacono; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Robert (Bud) Miller, Melvin (Richard) Miller, Gilbert (Dale) Miller, Ronald (Ronnie) Miller, and sisters Patsy Brooks, Beverly Bray, and Linda Weber.
A private internment will be held later at Fort Logan National Cemetery. A celebration of life luncheon will be open to family and friends November 30, 2018 at the Moose Lodge in Evans, CO at 1pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Weld County Veterans Memorial Association, PO Box 1016 Greeley, CO 80632.
