Vivid memories....I can still feel the sting from the swat she gave me, it broke my heart to hear of her passing, especially since I was able to meet up with her for lunch, with Bill and some grandkids, as well as my wife and 2 kids. I introduced her as my second mom cuz she spanked me. We had planned on lunch again. So that offer will remain open to the family now. You know how to get ahold of me since she had my number. My thoughts, prayers, and deepest sympathy to the entire family. My heartfelt apologies. I know that God has a wonderful new angel with him and I'm sure she's gonna keep her kids under watch. I have so many vivid memories of Mrs. Young in the classroom, at cheerleading practice , and at games (just to mention a few). When I think back she was part of so many memories I carry with me from Jr. High and High School it’s hard to imagine she’s not still there doing it. One of my best memories was when DaySpring won the state championship in football-I was in elementary and Margaret was my best friend so I was lucky enough to be able to ride the bus back to Greeley with all the players and cheerleaders and Mrs. Young. When we pulled into Greeley we drove down the main drag and I will never forget her saying ,” Put those windows down and let them know who’s home!” She was always her kids biggest cheerleader and I considered myself one of her kids. I remember the hugs and talks at lunch time in her room. What she gave to me with her time, kind words and love can never truly be measured. I’m so thankful to her family for sharing her with me, with so many of us. She lives on no doubt! All my love and prayers to Mr. Young, Mason, Chris, Margaret, Kathy and all of your family. Will be thinking of you today and in the days ahead.

I am so sorry to hear about Judy's passing. She was a sweet soul who will be missed. My favorite memory of her is when she gave the eulogy at our grandfather's funeral. It was just perfect! How I wish I had a copy of it now, and how appropriate her words would be for her own funeral. I wish I could attend the service, but know that my love is with all of you.
